PEFC New Zealand

Supporting sustainable forest management and responsible sourcing in New Zealand through PEFC certification.
Formerly New Zealand Forest Certification Association (NZFCA)

Sustainable forests,
trusted materials

PEFC New Zealand is the national governing body for the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC), the world's largest forest certification system.

We work with forest owners, processors, manufacturers, specifiers and supply chain partners to support sustainable forest management and provide independent assurance that forest products come from responsibly managed sources.

As demand grows for responsible, traceable and sustainable materials, PEFC certification helps sustainably managed forests with the industries using timber in buildings, infrastructure, packaging, furniture and everyday life.
